coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on November 1, 1994 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.

Blazon : "In silver three blue drops over a continuous single-arched red bridge."

The following reason is given for the symbols used:

  • The three drops are supposed to represent the three sources of all.
  • The symbol of a brick bridge was chosen as a connecting element for the localities.
  • The tinctures (colors) were designed in such a way that they consist of the coats of arms of the places and no new colors are added.
