Druxberge is a district of the municipality Eilsleben in the district of Börde in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

Druxberge lies in the north of the Magdeburg Börde on a plateau between the source areas of the Olbe and Aller . The place is considered to be the highest in the Börde. North of Druxberge, the Wartsberg reaches 179 m above sea level. NN . Seehausen is about nine kilometers, the state capital Magdeburg about 17 kilometers from Druxberge.

history

In 1135 the place appears as Druchtelberg for the first time in a document. The village church dates from 1865.

On September 1, 2010, Druxberge was incorporated into Eilsleben.

The coat of arms was approved on November 14, 1996 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.

Culture and sights

The art and culture association "Kleine Galerie Druxberge" has had its domicile in the community since 1996 and organizes several exhibitions every year.

The mayor's office and a hall with a dining room and kitchen are located in the town hall.

Druxberge village church

A church in Druxberge is first mentioned in 1257. Remnants of the cemetery wall are still preserved from her. In place of this church, today's Protestant village church Druxberge was built in 1867 according to plans by the builder Friedrich August Stüler . The mechanical organ built in 1868 by the Neuhaldensleben master organ builder August Troch is a specialty . It has been preserved in its original condition and is used for concerts.
