The Bad Schandau administrative association is an administrative association in the Free State of Saxony in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district . It is located in the south of the district, southeast of the district town of Pirna . It borders the Czech Republic in the south . It is almost exclusively located in the Saxon Switzerland National Park on both sides of the Elbe .
The administrative community was formed on January 1, 2000. On January 1, 2012, with the incorporation of Porschdorf into Bad Schandau, a community left the administrative community.
