Administrative community Genthin
In the administrative community Genthin of the district of Jerichower Land in Saxony-Anhalt ( Germany ) four municipalities were united to handle their administrative business.
16,290 inhabitants lived in an area of 224.17 km² (December 31, 2007) . The administration was located at Marktplatz 3 in 39307 Genthin, the head of the administrative association was Wolfgang Bernicke.

- City of Genthin with Altenplathow, Fienerode Hagen, Hüttermühle, Mollenberg , Mützel, Parchen and Wiechenberg
- Gladau with Dretzel and Schattberge
- Paplitz with Gehlsdorf
- Tucheim with Hof Königsrode, Holzhaus , Ringelsdorf and Wülpen
history
The first VG Genthin consisted of the Parchen municipality and the city of Genthin. On April 30, 2002, this was initially dissolved by integrating the Parchen municipality into the city of Genthin. The VG was formed for the second time on January 1, 2005 from the formerly administrative community-free city of Genthin and three municipalities from the dissolved administrative community Fläming-Fiener . With the incorporation of the three municipalities into the city of Genthin on July 1, 2009, the administrative community was dissolved.
