The administrative community Großröhrsdorf was an administrative community in the district of Bautzen in the Free State of Saxony . It was located in the southwest of the district, about 25 km east of the state capital Dresden and 13 km west of Bischofswerda . The community area on the edge of the West Lusatia landscape protection area was partly surrounded by agricultural land and partly by extensive forest areas. The federal motorway 4 ran through the community area and was accessible via the Ohorn or Pulsnitz connections.
