The Möckern-Loburg-Fläming administrative community was an administrative community in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

It covered an area of ​​530.19 km² and had 15,177 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2006).

history

The Möckern-Fläming administrative community was formed on January 1, 2005 from the municipalities of the dissolved Fläming-Fiener administrative communities (except for Gladau , Paplitz and Tucheim ) and Möckern .

The Möckern-Loburg-Fläming administrative community was formed on July 1, 2007. It emerged from the Möckern-Fläming administrative community and the municipalities of Hobeck, Loburg, Rosian and Schweinitz, which were changed from the former Anhalt-Zerbst district to the Jerichower Land district as a result of the 2007 district reform .

On January 1st, 2009 the town of Loburg and the communities Dörnitz, Hobeck, Küsel, Rosian, Schweinitz, Tryppehna, Wallwitz and Zeddenick were incorporated into the town of Möckern, reducing the number of member communities from 20 to eleven.

On July 1, 2009 Reesen left the administrative community through the incorporation into the district town of Burg . In addition, the communities Magdeburgerforth and Reesdorf were incorporated into Möckern.

On January 1, 2010, Drewitz, Grabow, Krüssau, Rietzel and Wüstenjerichow were incorporated into Möckern.

On September 1, 2010, Schopsdorf and Stresow were finally incorporated into the city of Möckern, making the city a unified municipality .

On August 31, 2011, the Dessau administrative court repealed the incorporation of Schopsdorf and the dissolution of the Möckern-Loburg-Fläming administrative community. With the incorporation of Schopsdorf into the city of Genthin on July 1, 2012, the administrative community was dissolved. The last head of the administrative community was Frank von Holly.
