coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on October 25, 1994 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.

Blazon : "In green, a golden rooted tree stump with a seven-leaf sprout on the left."

Factual thinking led to the decision for this coat of arms, which refers to the end and beginning of life in the Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide. It is to be seen as a symbol for the future and roots of the people in their homeland and as a commitment to their landscape that is worth preserving but also in need of restoration.
