Saale-Wipper administrative community
The administrative community Saale-Wipper of the Salzlandkreis was an amalgamation of five municipalities to handle their administrative business.
The administrative community was created on January 1, 2005 from the dissolved administrative community Alsleben and Wipperaue . At the same time, the communities of Beesenlaublingen, Belleben and Strenznaundorf (formerly VG Alsleben) were incorporated into the town of Könnern . The administrative seat was in the city of Güsten .
Schackstedt was incorporated into the city of Aschersleben on January 1, 2010 . The other communities merged with Giersleben and Amesdorf , which was incorporated into Güsten, to form the Saale-Wipper community. The administrative community was thus dissolved.
