Vesthovde ( Norwegian for west height ) is an icy headland with numerous rocky outcrops on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It forms the western part of the Botnneset peninsula on the south bank of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
