The Vestinian language was spoken in ancient Italy by the Vestinians who settled in Abruzzo . It belongs to the North Oscar group of Italian languages and is closely related to the Marrukinian language .

Lore

As for the Marrukinian language, only six texts have survived. All of these traditional texts are written in the Latin alphabet .

The following six texts are known so far: two dedicatory inscriptions (one from Navelli and one from Peltuinum ), three building inscriptions (two from San Benedetto in Perillis and one from Pescosansonesco ) and a grave inscription from Torre de 'Passeri .
