history

The current name of the municipality of Torre de 'Passeri comes from the Latin " passum Turris " (tower of the past). Over a thousand years ago, a tower was built on the site of the Abbey of San Clemente Casauria.

Attractions

The Castello Gizzi castle was built in the 18th century. The Dante Museum and the Caldora Library are also in the municipality. A park of 8 hectares surrounds the castle, to which a tower is attached.
