Montesilvano is an Italian city ​​in the Abruzzo region , 208 kilometers east of Rome , with 54,362 inhabitants.

Montesilvano is located immediately northwest of the provincial capital Pescara . The municipality arose from the merger of the coastal town of Montesilvano Marina and the hilltop fortified town of Montesilvano Colle . Other neighboring communities are Cappelle sul Tavo , Città Sant'Angelo and Spoltore . The community is well connected to the A14 motorway.

Montesilvano has been twinned with Lahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate since April 2016 .
