Lettomanoppello is an Italian commune with 2817 inhabitants and is located in the province of Pescara in Abruzzo . Part of the territory of the municipality lies within the boundaries of the Majella National Park .

history

In the documents of the Middle Ages, the community was mentioned as Lectio Prope Manoppellum . The village is of medieval origin and has long been part of the municipality of Manopello. In the 7th century it was taken over by the Diocese of Chieti. The municipality of Lettomanoppello has had many mineral reserves for centuries. The white stones, which are abundant in the municipality, come from the Maiella Mountains.
