The thermal baths of Caramanico Terme

Caramanico Terme lives from tourism today. The thermal baths are located in a park . They opened in 1901. The water from the springs contains sulfur and is used for spa treatments, inhalations and fango packs.

Caramanico is also the starting point for hikes in the Majella National Park . The next tour goes through the canyon of the valley of the Orfento river .

You can get to Roccamorice by car and walk to the chapel of l'Eremo di San Bartolomeo in a canyon . Ski tourists also come in winter.

A few kilometers outside the town center, on the road to Salle, is the church of San Tommaso Becket, also known as the "Chiesa di San Tommaso di Paterno". Built at the end of the 12th to the beginning of the 13th century, a relief depicting Christ and the twelve apostles stands out above the main portal.
