Veton Berisha (born April 13, 1994 in Egersund ) is a Norwegian football player . The striker and four-time Norwegian international is under contract with Norwegian first division club Viking Stavanger .

family

Berisha's older brother Valon (* 1993) is also a soccer player and is currently under contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf .

Career

societies

Berisha started his career in the youth of Egersunds IK and moved to Viking Stavanger for the 2011 season . On May 19, 2011 he made his debut in the 3-1 defeat against Tromsø IL in the Tippeligaen . He scored his first goal on July 17, 2011 for a 1-0 win at home against Aalesunds FK .

For the 2015/16 season Berisha moved to the German second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth , for whom he made his debut on July 25, 2015 in the 1-0 win against Karlsruher SC in the 2nd Bundesliga. A week later he scored his first goal for the Fürth team in a 2-2 draw at RB Leipzig .

In August 2017 he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club SK Rapid Wien , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2020. In March 2019 he returned to Norway and moved to Brann Bergen , where he received a contract that ran until December 2022. In January 2020 he went to league competitor Viking Stavanger , for whom he had already played from 2011 to 2015.

National team

Berisha went from the U15 to all youth national teams of the Norwegian Football Association . From August 2013 to March 2016, he played 15 times for the U21 team and scored a total of two goals. On May 29, 2016 Berisha made her debut in the 3-0 defeat against Portugal in the national team . A week later he scored his first international goal in a 3-2 defeat against Belgium . On September 4, 2016, Berisha was used for the first time in a competitive game in the 3-0 defeat against Germany . He has not been nominated since then.
