Veysel Cihan (born February 4, 1976 in Avanos ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Veysel started his career at Nevşehirspor in 1994 . In 1998 he switched to Denizlispor . In his first year at Denizlispor, he rose with the team in the Süper Lig . He scored 18 goals and was one of the key players that season. He played a total of four years for Denizlispor until he moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara in the capital . At Gençlerbirliği he was able to continue his good performance. In 2003 and 2004 he was vice-cup winner with Gençlerbirliği. Beşiktaş Istanbul was committed to the 2004/05 season .

With the transfer to Beşiktaş, the pressure to perform at Veysel Cihan grew and his performance declined. After two years he was allowed to move to Gaziantepspor . Cihan stayed in Gaziantep for a season and moved to Konyaspor . At Konyaspor he was a regular for two years. After Konyaspor was relegated in the 2008/09 season, Veysel left the club and went to Antalyaspor on a free transfer .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the second division Boluspor and played here for a season.

National team

In the years 2002-2003 Veysel played a total of four times for the second selection of the Turkish national football team .
