Vicente Alfredo Monje (born June 22, 1981 in Yuto ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

Monje started professional football in 2002 at Gimnasia y Tiro and played here as a supplementary player until summer 2004. In the 2004/05 season he moved to Club Atlético Atlanta . Here he quickly found his way into the regular formation and attracted attention for the first time with 13 goals in 45 encounters. So it happened that he switched to Ferro Carril Oeste after just one season . With this club he scored 15 goals in twelve matches until the winter break. As a result of this performance he was sold to the Belgian first division club Beerschot AC for the second half of the season . At Beerschot he did not find his way into the team and returned to his old club Ferro Carril Oeste at the end of the season. Here he succeeded again in a convincing second half. So it was given again for the winter break. This time to the Greek first division club Olympiakos Volos . With this club he played two years continuously and moved to Olympiacos Piraeus within the league in summer 2011 . Here he found it difficult to get into the team and mostly sat on the bench. At the end of the season, he won the Super League championship and the Greek Football Cup with his team .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Orduspor .
