Victor Raulin
Victor Félix Raulin (born August 8, 1815 in Paris , † February 10, 1905 in Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) was a French geo , mineralogist and botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Raulin ".
He was professor of geology, mineralogy and botany at the University of Bordeaux .
Raulin also dealt with paleontology and botany . He published a monograph on the geology and botany of Crete , the geology of Aquitaine , the tertiary of the Paris basin and the Allier department . He also dealt with meteorology .
He had been a member of the French Geological Society since 1837.
