Victor Christoffer Jensen (born February 8, 2000 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player . He has been with Ajax Amsterdam since 2017 and plays for the Danish youth national teams.

Career

Victor Jensen played in the School of Excellence at FC Copenhagen until 2017 and then moved to the Netherlands in the Ajax Amsterdam Youth Center in the summer of the same year . His contract runs until 2020 and he was initially used in the U-19 of the club. On January 12, 2018 he made his professional debut when he played for the reserve team Jong Ajax in the 1: 2 on matchday 20 of the Jupiler League (second Dutch division) against Fortuna Sittard . On February 5, Jensen scored his first goal in the men's area in a 2-0 win on matchday 23 against Helmond Sport with the goal of the final score.

National team

On October 6, 2015 Jensen played for the Danish U-16 national team for the first time in a 2-0 defeat in a friendly against Hungary in Skive . He came to seven missions for the U-16s. Jensen played for the Danish U-17 national team for the first time on August 3, 2016, when he started in the 4-1 win against Cyprus during the Nordic Cup in Finland and was substituted for Nicolai Baden Frederiksen after 65 minutes. On February 28, 2017, Jensen played his eleventh and last game for the Danish U-17s in a 2-0 friendly win in Belfast against Northern Ireland. On September 1, 2017, Jensen made his first of six appearances for the Danish U-18 national team in a 2-1 friendly against the Netherlands in Nyborg . On February 27, 2018, he played for the Danish U-19 national team for the first time in a test match in Lloret del Mar, Catalonia, against Scotland.
