Victor Loew

Victor Löw , actually Victor Löwenstein , (born August 25, 1962 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch actor .

Victor Löw was trained as an actor at the Herman Teirlinck studio in Antwerp . He got his first (small) film role in De Noorderlingen in 1992 . He then starred in a number of other films, including the Oscar- winning films Antonia's World (1995) and Karakter (1997) in the category Best Foreign Language Film . The film Everyone is a Star was also nominated for an Oscar ! (2000).

Since then, Victor Löw has been a sought-after film actor, who has also worked on several TV series in the Netherlands. For his role as the criminal Jack in the film Lek (2000), Löw was awarded the Golden Calf at the Nederlands Film Festival , which takes place annually in Utrecht .

On stage Victor Löw was in the play The price of Arthur Miller to see. In the 2004/2005 season he gave a solo performance with the play De redenaar by the Dutch theater and film writer Ruud van Megen .
