occupation

For a few more marbles is a Dutch children's film by Jelmar Hufen from 2006. The world premiere took place on September 27, 2006 at the Netherlands Film Festival.

action

Four ten year old children are chased from their playground by two alcoholics. Since none of the parents wants to help the children with their problem because they are too busy with their own things, the children have to take the initiative themselves. Now there is only one more option. You have to try to get help from this "dangerous" boy who lives a few streets away. Now the four children are experiencing an exciting adventure until they finally recapture their playground.

criticism

The filmfestival.nl addresses the fact that not only does the title refer to Sergio Leone's Western For a Few Dollars More , but that the music and the story are also based on this film. The way in which the children recapture their playground would have a cowboy-like or military drama.
