Vidas Mikalauskas
Vidas Mikalauskas (born August 10, 1955 in Krokialaukis , Alytus Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from Simnas Middle School in the district of Alytus in 1973 , Mikalauskas completed a diploma course in 1978 at the Valstybinis pedagoginis institutas in Vilnius and became a teacher of geography and physical culture . From 1990 to 1997 he worked in the sports school in Varėna . From 1997 to 2011 he was mayor , then deputy mayor, from 2013 mayor of the Varėna district and from 2015 to 2016 a member of Seimas .
From 1995 Mikalauskas was a member of Lietuvos centro sąjunga , from 2005 to 2011 of Lietuvos centro partija . Now he is a member of the LSDP .
Mikalauskas is married.
