Vigelsø is a 148 hectare Danish island in the Odensefjord that has been uninhabited since the late 1980s . The island belongs to the parish community ( Danish : Sogn ) Østrup Sogn , which until 1970 belonged to Harde Lunde Herred in what was then Odense Amt , from 1970 to what was then Otterup Kommune in what was then Fyns Amt and has been part of Nordfyns Kommune since the local reform on January 1, 2007 in the Syddanmark region .
