Viktor Genew ( Bulgarian Виктор Генев ; born October 27, 1988 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian football player who began his career with Levski Sofia . His position is central defense.
Career
Genew played for Levski Sofia in his youth. On March 19, 2008 Genew made his official debut for Sofia in the group A match against Lokomotive Plovdiv . In 2009 he was able to win the championship and the Supercup. In 2010 he moved to capital city rivals Slavia Sofia . After two loans - to Russia to Krylja Sowetow Samara and to the Ukraine to PFK Oleksandrija - he played for the Kazakh club Spartak Semei in the 2014 2014 season . After relegation, his contract ended. In February 2015, the relegation-threatened Scottish first division club FC St. Mirren signed him. He could n't prevent the descent . In September 2015, Petrolul Ploieşti signed him . Here he was a regular player, but left the club again at the beginning of 2016 for FK Dinamo Minsk in Belarus. There he could not assert himself and was only used twice. In mid-2016 he joined Levski Sofia again. He was only on the grid twice in the 2016/17 season. At the beginning of 2017, he was hired by league rival Botew Plovdiv .
In August 2017 Genew moved to the MS Ashdod in Israel.
