Viktoria Baroness von dem Bussche

Viktoria Freifrau von dem Bussche-Ippenburg , b. von Consbruch (born August 13, 1953 in Hiddenhausen ) is a German non-fiction author, gardener and initiator of the annual garden art festival at Ippenburg Castle .

1973–1976 Viktoria von dem Bussche studied history, art history and fine arts in Bonn. In 1976 she married Philip Freiherr von dem Bussche from the Osnabrück noble family von dem Bussche and moved to Ippenburg Castle , where she has also been responsible for the Ippenburg Garden Festival since 1998. In 2010 Viktoria Freifrau von dem Bussche co-organized the Lower Saxony State Garden Show in Bad Essen. The park of Ippenburg Castle was one of the two locations of the State Garden Show . From 2018 their son Viktor and his wife Deborah will continue the festival tradition. She wants to expand the project “Ippenburger Kitchen Garden”, an interplay of fresh garden products and fine cuisine and thus also the collaboration with star chef Thomas Bühner .
