Vilhjálmur Finsen

Vilhjálmur Finsen (born November 7, 1883 , † October 11, 1960 ) was an Icelandic journalist and diplomat .

Finsen founded the daily Morgunblaðið in 1913 . After the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iceland and the Federal Republic of Germany, he was the first envoy of the Republic of Iceland in Bonn from 1952 to 1955 .
