Villa Braun

The Villa Braun is a residential building in Munich . The building is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.

location

The villa is located at Heilmannstraße 21 in the villa colony of Prinz-Ludwigs-Höhe in the Thalkirchen district of Munich . The house is set back about 50 meters from the street and can be reached via an access road that runs between the neighboring houses and which leads from Heilmannstraße opposite the junction with Ludwigshöher Straße.

history

In 1897 the pharmacist Carl Braun bought the property in order to build a summer house on it. In 1899 the architect Franz Rank built the house according to Braun's ideas. In 1905 an extension was built on the west side.

The villa is built in an Italian style.
