Villa Constantia

description

The under monument protection standing villa style country house , today by the historic preservation as a rental villa classified, has been designed as a two-storey "Einfamilienwohnhaus" according to construction document. The country house has asymmetrical, “picturesquely moving elevations” and a tiled mansard roof with subsequently enlarged roofs . The wooden eaves are decorated on the side that is visible from below with a decorative painting based on the original findings.

In the four-axis street view, on the right in front of the corner of the house, there is a single-storey, polygonal bay window , directly to the left of it is a loggia on the ground floor . The two left window axes are combined as coupling windows . They are adorned by building ornamentation placed above them and are surrounded by an arched rose trellis .

In the side view on the left, the entrance to the house is in a staircase projection, which looks like a massive, open veranda facing the street . There is also architectural ornamentation on the pillars of the entrance area. In the right side view there is a central risalit with a loggia on the upper floor. Behind the risalit there is a veranda facing the garden.

The facades of the building plaster are simple and restrained divided, the windows are jamb edged. The shutters of the upper floor windows have been removed today.

The enclosure is formed by a white picket fence on a concrete pier.
