Villa Koenenkamp

The Villa Koenenkamp , also House Mark , is located in Bremen , Horn-Lehe district, Horn district, Marcusallee 38, at the Rhododendron Park . The house was built in 1915 according to plans by August Abbehusen and Otto Blendermann . The building has been a listed building in Bremen since 1999 .

history

The two-storey, plastered, seven-axis, large villa with a hipped roof , a three-axis portico and above it a classicistic triangular gable with a coat of arms in the tympanum and on two sides with rounded bay windows and terraces on the upper floor was built in 1915 at the turn of the century for the silk merchant Wilhelm Koenenkamp ( 1859–1941) built. There is a single-storey extension on the east side.
Two more three-story houses were later built on the property.

Today (2018) the house is used by offices, practices and apartments.

The listed building No. 1A tea house from Gut Kreyenhorst , residential complex Marcusallee 2/4 , No. 9 Villa Schütte and No. 11 Landhaus Krages are still on Marcusallee .
