Villa Luise

The Villa Luise , originally Villa Louise , is on the Upper Mountain Road 58 in the district Niederlößnitz the Saxon town of Radebeul . It was built around 1895.

The under monument protection standing rental villa is a two story residential building with a widely overhanging, flattened slate hip roof . It stands on the mountain side of the Obere Bergstrasse on a sloping plot of land, at the foot of the Niederlößnitz vineyards in the individual Radebeuler Steinücken vineyard . The property is located in the conservation area Historic vineyard landscape Radebeul .

The four-axis street view is symmetrical, with a two-axis risalit with a triangular gable in the center. The two upper floor windows in the risalit, like all of them framed by sandstone walls, are adorned by arched roofs , in the gable above there is a thermal bath window . All other windows in the house are rectangular and adorned with simpler elements such as straight roofs.

In the left side view there is an entrance porch, in the right a renewed, two-storey veranda .

The light, plastered building is structured and adorned by cornices , corner pilasters and stucco decoration.
