The Villa Montana in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered under the number D-6-72-114-73 in the Bavarian list of monuments .

location

The Villa Montana is located at Menzelstraße 17, at the foot of the Stationsberg , west of the Ostring.

history

The Villa Montana was built as a health resort in the years 1896/97 by the architect M. Renninger in neo-renaissance forms .

The property is a three-storey rectangular building made of sandstone of different colors with a hipped roof over the basement, red sandstone structure and tower bay . The neo-renaissance is expressed in the form canon of the window frames and the balconies of the property. The mighty roof shapes and the wall surfaces of the property are atypical of the New Renaissance, which otherwise prefers small-scale compositions. The property has an embankment wall and an enclosure.

The Villa Montana is now called Haus Bethania and is used for holiday apartments.
