Villa Reynolds is a small town in the Department of General Pedernera in the province of San Luis in central western Argentina . It is located on the Ruta Nacional 7 , which connects Buenos Aires with Mendoza and Santiago de Chile , only a few kilometers from the border with the province of Cordoba . Villa Reynolds is currently growing along the Ruta Nacional 7 and the railway line with the cities of Villa Mercedes and Justo Daract .
Villa Reynolds Airport is located in Villa Reynolds . From here, on March 22 and March 28, 1973, two British sounding rockets of the Skylark type were launched, which reached an altitude of 240 km.
