Villa rustica 1 (Schondorf am Ammersee)

The villa rustica 1 in the district of Unterschondorf in the municipality of Schondorf am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech was uncovered in 1924 by Heinrich Blendinger and students. The villa rustica from the Roman Empire at the southern end of Schondorf is a protected ground monument .

A Roman bathing building on the banks of the Ammersee was uncovered. In 2005 the ground plan of the building was marked with gravel and a stele was erected.
