Villa rustica (Erpfting)

The villa rustica in the district of Erpfting , a district of Landsberg am Lech in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was uncovered in 1969/70. The villa rustica situated 1.6 kilometers north of Erpfting and is a protected archaeological monument .

A bathing building and pottery kilns were discovered from the villa rustica, about 500 meters west of the Via Claudia . Most of the ceramic and glass finds are dated to the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. The coin series begins in AD 259/268 and ends in AD 388/408.
