Villa rustica 2 (Schondorf am Ammersee)

The villa rustica 2 in the district of Unterschondorf in the municipality of Schondorf am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech was discovered in 2006. The villa rustica of the Roman Empire is a protected ground monument .

Almost 300 meters west of the Roman baths (see Villa rustica 1 ) on the banks of the Ammersee , the tufa boulders and bricks found in 2006 , including tubules from a hypocaust heater , indicate the location of a Roman estate.
