Vincent Berning (born July 25, 1933 in Berlin ) is a Catholic German philosopher and university professor .

Born on July 25, 1933 in Berlin as the son of August Heinrich Berning (Christian cultural and social politician, poet , editor-in-chief, † 1982), who shared him with friends of the Werl-Soester district around Theodor Abele († 1965), Hermann Platz († 1945), Alois Dempf († 1982), Heinrich Krone († 1982), Gustav Gundlach SJ († 1963) and others. a. made known.
