Vincent Graeff

Vincent Graeff (born September 14, 1931 in San Diego , California as Vincent Bernard Graeff , † February 8, 2011 in Henderson , Nevada ) was an American child actor.

Life

Graeff took part in the Korean War in the 4th Marine Regiment of the First Marine Division and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was married to Pat Graeff and had five children. After his acting career, he worked as a sheet metal fitter. His brother Paul was also seen as a child actor in films.

Act

Under the stage name Billy Ray Smith, he made his film debut in 1937 at the age of six in the Hal Roach- produced series The Little Tramps ( Our Gang ) in the episode The Pigskin Palooka . Another nine films with him in the series followed, including in the episodes Robot Wrecks , Fightin 'Fools and Baby Blues . By the end of his acting career in 1951, he was seen in several films.
