Vincent Kaufmann
Vincent Kaufmann (born May 14, 1955 in Bern ) is a Swiss book scholar and Romance scholar .
Life
Vincent Kaufmann acquired in 1979 at the University of Geneva , the licentiate and 1984 the doctorate in Geneva . From 1996 to 2020 he was Professor of French at the University of St. Gallen .
His main research interests are the literary and cultural history of France (19th and 20th centuries): literature, politics, religion, media, medicine, avant-garde, history of literary theory.
