Vincent Kittmann

Vincent Kittmann (born September 19, 1988 ) is a German professional basketball player . He is 1.99 meters tall and plays on the wing position.

Career

During his youth, Kittmann played for Bramfelder SV in his hometown of Hamburg, including in the U19 Bundesliga NBBL . In the 2006/07 season he also drew attention to himself with good performances in the Bramfeld men's team (2nd regional league) and switched to SC Rist Wedel (then 1st regional league) for the 2007/08 season . At the end of 2007 he took part in the elimination events for the German U20 national team.

For the 2008/09 season Kittmann went to Osnabrück ( 2nd Bundesliga Pro B ), the following season he moved to the relay competitor Hertener Löwen . The step into the next higher division, the 2nd Bundesliga Pro A , ergo the second division, he took in 2012 when he switched to the Paderborn Baskets . Previously, in his third and final season with the Lions, Kittmann was voted one of the five best players of the 2011/12 Pro-B season. He played in Paderborn for two years.

Kittmann moved back to his home country for the 2014/15 season and joined the Hamburg Towers . The new team completed their first season in the 2. Bundesliga Pro A . With the Towers Kittmann reached the playoffs and was used in 33 games. In July 2015, his contract was extended by the Towers for the 2015/16 season. In June 2016, Kittmann announced the end of his professional career, but returned in the summer of 2017 and joined SC Rist Wedel in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB, for which he played until the end of the 2017/18 season.
