Vincent Strouhal
Vincent Strouhal , also Čeněk Strouhal (born April 10, 1850 in Seč , † January 23, 1922 in Prague ) was a Czech physicist in the field of hydrodynamics and an expert in experimental physics . Strouhal was one of the founders of the physics faculty at Charles University in Prague . He was also the rector of that university.
The dimensionless Strouhal number is named after Strouhal .
