Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho

Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho (born January 22, 1963 in Kinshasa ) is a Congolese Roman Catholic clergyman and appointed auxiliary bishop in Kinshasa .

Life

Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho studied philosophy at the Saint Kaggwa seminary from 1981 to 1984 and Catholic theology at the Saint Jean XXIII seminary in Kinshasa from 1985 to 1989 . He received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Kinshasa on August 1, 1990 .

After his ordination, Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho first worked as parish vicar of the parish of Saint Augustin before he became parish vicar of the parish of Saint André in 1994 . From 1996 to 2003 he was pastor of the parish Mama wa Bosawa and from 1996 to 1997 he was also pastor of the parish of Saint Frédéric . Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho then served as pastor of the parish of Saint Marc and dean before he became pastor of the parishes of Saint Augustin and Saint Gabriel in 2008 . From 2014 to 2018 he was pastor of the parish of Saint Joseph . In 2018 Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho became pastor of the parish of Saint Albert le Grand as well as a member of the priestly council of the Archdiocese of Kinshasa and responsible for justice and peace.

On 29 June 2020 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Oescus and auxiliary bishop in Kinshasa.
