Vincenz Ensinger
Vincenz Ensinger , also Vinzenz , (* around 1422/23 Bern , † after 1493 in Constance ) was a Swabian builder and stonemason . His father was Matthäus Ensinger and his brother Moritz Ensinger .

In 1448 Ensinger temporarily represented his father at the Bern Minster and followed him to the Ulm Minster . In 1450 he went to Strasbourg . In 1450 or 1451 he succeeded his father at the Bern Minster Building. In 1459 he was already a master builder for the cathedral in Konstanz and in 1460 he worked at the Martinsmünster in Colmar . In 1469/70 he was busy erecting the southern tower and the small cloister at Basel Minster . In 1479 he was released there and turned to Constance to the Constance Minster , where he built chapels on the south and north sides. He was no longer employed there in 1489, but occasionally worked in Constance until 1493.
