Vistlip (written as vistlip ) is a five-member, so-called visual kei - band from Japan , which has established itself on 7 July of 2007. Vistlip is currently under contract with Delfi Sound and Marvelous AQL . vistlips music style is a mixture of rock and pop .

history

Through their former bands, the members of vistlip played many gigs together before they were founded. After all of this was resolved, the members of vistlips met in a studio and laid the groundwork for their joint work from there on. The band name is made up of “vista” (seeing) and “lip” (speaking). The founding date, July 7th, is an important day for the band, on which vistlip plays an anniversary concert every year. In favor of the special date, vistlip also has a track entitled "July VIIth". The line-up of the band has not changed to this day.

In the period from July 2010 to February 2011, vistlip stopped all of its activities in the music industry due to an accident that occurred on July 30, 2010. At around 1:15 a.m. Japanese time, the band was on their way back home from a live performance in Kanazawa City when, for some inexplicable reason, the band's minivan crashed into the wall of the Nagae Tunnel. The band manager Asako Sakakibara († July 30, 2010 at the age of 31), who was sitting in the back of the van, was thrown out of the vehicle by the impact and succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident.

The first to be heard after the accident was guitarist Yuh of the band, who modeled for the Sex Pot ( Tokyo ) label from October 2010 to December 2010 . In February 2011 the band announced a VIP LiST fan club Only Live, with which they wanted to dedicate themselves back to music. On June 1st 2011 the single "SINDRA" followed as a kind of comeback in the music business.

According to their own statements, vistlip do not follow a specific concept , but rather concentrate on making the music that they simply want to make at the time of composition. With "ORDER MADE" and the following singles "Recipe" and "B" they followed melodic sounds and in these songs still processed the events from July 2010. The band wrote the single "Recipe" for their late manager. With the album "GLOSTER" released on New Year 2013, vistlip goes back to its origins. According to the singer Tomo, the band no longer wants to be called "poppy" and leaves room for the rumors that they are just a band that write songs so that they sell well.

In 2016 the song "Monogram" appeared on the single "OVERTURE", which was placed in the top 10 of the Japanese Oricon charts.

Singer Tomo and bassist Rui have two side projects besides vistlip called 大 根 団 地 (Daikondanchi) and Lill.
