Viums
Viums ( Italian Fiumes ) is a village in South Tyrol with 266 inhabitants and a fraction of the municipality of Naz-Sciaves . Viums is located on a small plateau bordered by Eisack and Rienz in the Eisack Valley a few kilometers north of Brixen . The closest villages are Schabs in the northwest and Naz in the south. The proximity to Brixen has led to population growth in the last few decades. The village of Viums is characterized by agriculture and tourism with its numerous accommodations. The church in the village is dedicated to St. Magdalena.
