Former town hall (Mairie) of Cessières

Cessières was a French community with 437 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belonged to the Arrondissement of Laon and the Canton of Laon-1 .

On January 1, 2019, Cessières was merged with the commune of Suzy to form Commune nouvelle Cessières-Suzy . Since then, Cessières has been a commune déléguée .

geography

Cessières is about nine kilometers west of Laon . Cessières is surrounded by the neighboring villages of Bucy-lès-Cerny in the north, Molinchart in the east, Laniscourt in the southeast, Montbavin in the south, Faucoucourt in the southwest and Suzy in the west.
