Viva is a hard rock group from Hanover .

history

The band was founded by Barbara Schenker ( keyboard ), the sister of Rudolf Schenker von der Scorpions and Michael Schenker (Scorpions, UFO , MSG ), Frank Algermission ( vocals ), Kai Reuter ( guitar ), Ralph Murthy (guitar), Andreas Kawaldt ( Bass ) and Shaban Yavuz ( drums ). In 1980 their first album Born to Rock was released . For the second album What the Hell Is Going on (1981) came the Swiss Marco Paganini as singer, Martin Pietschak as drummer and Andy Fach took over the guitar from Kai Reuter. 1982 followed by the third album Dealers of the Night . Murthy, Paganini and Schenker left the band and with Chris Towe (vocals) and Michael Lauer (keyboard) the album Apocalypse was released in 1984 .

In 1986 the band broke up.

In 1996 Andy Fach started a comeback with Eddy Peterson (vocals), ex- Velvet Viper Lars Ratz (bass), RR Oddly (drums) and Ronald Hensel (keyboard) with the work Cream Cake Box .

Reuter went to Jane in 1984 and to Jutta Weinhold in 2000 . Schenker played briefly with Rosy Vista and started a new one in 2007 with Marc Paganini (vocals), who in the meantime had founded the band Paganini with Ralph Murthy , guitarists Pete Southern and Leon Lawson, Ricko Walsh (drums) and Gui Ghost (bass) Viva approach.
