Viva Chile! is the 13th album by the Chilean group Inti-Illimani .

Origin and Distribution

This album is the first record that Inti-Illimani released after the 9/11 coup in exile in Italy . With her exile, her label changed to the Italian record company Dischi dello Zodiaco . The LP contains various songs already released in Chile, which have now been made available to European listeners. Overall, the music presented is in the band's previous tradition and is a mixture of political folk and traditional Andean music.

In the GDR , Viva Chile appeared on the Amiga label .
