Vivian Brown

Vivian Brown ( Vivian Dolores Brown, married Reed; born December 17, 1941 in Detroit , † August 20, 1998 in Cleveland ) was an American sprinter .

In 1963, she won the Pan American Games in São Paulo over 200 meters and in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she was eliminated over 200 m in the semifinals.

She was twice US champion (1962, 1963) and US indoor champion (1961, 1962) over 220 yards . She set her personal best over 200 m of 23.7 s on July 22, 1962 in Palo Alto .
