Viviana is a female given name, from which the better known first name Viviane is derived, and which is related to the male form Vivian . The origin of the name can be found in the Etruscan language and means something like "alive" (also Latin vivus ). The "Viviana" version described here, however, comes from Italian and is possibly based on the Latin martyr name Vivianus .
