The residential and commercial building at Voerder Strasse 11 is a listed multi-family house in the Ennepetal district of Milspe . The building was erected in 1906.

description

The building, built in the Wilhelminian style - historicism , is a typical example of the beginning of urban solid construction instead of the previously local low- storey half - timbered and slate construction . The design for the house was commissioned by the client August Hedtmann from the Wuppertal architect E. Wellershaus.

The four-storey house is a brick building with a symmetrically arranged facade . Under a wide central gable with segmented arched window there is a three-axis central bay on consoles in the shape of a volute . There and above the segmented arched window on the ground floor there are stucco emblems with Art Nouveau influences . The wooden lattice windows that have been preserved throughout the building are surrounded by stucco frames, and the corners of the building are also highlighted by square frames .
